Met noviceboy on Saturday and fished the rocks off Palos Verdes but we came away empty handed. Our inexperience showed as we were snagged on just about every single cast. Decided to make a quick stop to Hermosa to regain what was left of our pride... Met up with Tim who was fishing for halibut. I got raked once and he had a couple good bites that got away. Both Thomas and Tim landed bonito while I had a hard time pulling one up with my light tackle. The sea lions were in full force stealing catches including one from Tim (we should've been paying attention more closely).
