Palos Verdes

Report from Pierfishing.com:

Snuck out to PV for a couple hours while my computer was getting its innards swapped. Fished from 11am to 2pm... Got a real good look at some of the hiding spots because of the low tide.

Tried Texas rigging a couple artificial worms but had problems getting snagged (one worm had its tail bitten off). Lost 3 of the arkey jigs... the low tide kept the kelp pretty thick. Caught a 16" calico bass and my first rockfish--a 7 to 8" kelp rockfish.

Low tide

Nice calico

Grass rockfish

That's one way to record your catch!
