Sierra Point Pier

Report from Pierfishing.com:

It's been awhile since I posted a report... feels good to get out again! SturgeonSlayer23 was gracious enough to spend some time with me as I made my visit to the Bay area. I brought along my 5-piece Greys Excursion rod and Penn Jigmaster (40# mono) while SS23 provided tackle and frozen anchovies. We came away skunked, but there was another angler who caught around a 2ft. leopard and a 30+ lb. ray, the latter of which SS23 netted expertly.

The highlight of the night was to see Raidersfan1 alive and well, and with hot chocolate to boot! Thanks for stopping by.

Even though it was a beautiful night, I was eager to cut the night short because my pansy-butt couldn't handle the cold weather. After 15+ years of living in warm weather climates (my wife told me it was 70+ degrees in LA), I just couldn't take the chilly SF night.

I'd love to get together again but it looks like I won't have time. Thanks again guys!
